Initially, 1159 was distributed in South Africa via Sportsmans Warehouse Stores with 26 unique products.
1159 was the first company to start selling a complete high-end range of after-market accessories for GoPro into mainstream retail stores.
Fast forward to 2016
1159 purchased a 3D printer and started working on some of its products.
The first product developed was the Xtreme Kite Line Mount. After selling 2000 units worldwide, 1159 started looking at local product development and manufacturing.

After months of development, 1159 managed to successfully develop a professional dome system referred to as a GDome.
